A December wedding at Huntsham Court, Devon | Lana & Lewis

Winter weddings at Huntsham Court
Lana and Lewis’s December wedding at Huntsham Court was the perfect blend of style, warmth, and festive celebration. Huntsham looked incredible, dressed for Christmas with twinkling lights, rich greenery, and that unmistakable winter atmosphere that makes this Devon venue so special. Black tie glamour
This was a day that felt effortlessly elegant. The Dress code was black tie, champagne flowing, fires lit, and laughter all around. Huntsham Court lends itself so well to this kind of wedding: grand but welcoming, sophisticated but relaxed.
Lana and Lewis created a day that was completely their own. From the moment guests arrived, it felt like a proper celebration, full of warmth, good food, and good company. The ceremony was personal and relaxed, with an hilarious song by a few of the groomsmen, followed by a reception that had everyone smiling and chatting by the fire in the great hall and enjoying the grounds in the fading winter light.
champagne…
And yes, the champagne tower absolutely lived up to the moment — a perfect centrepiece for a party that just kept getting better as the night went on.
Winter weddings at Huntsham Court really are something special. The flicker of candlelight, the smell of pine and mulled wine, the laughter echoing through the old rooms — it’s the ultimate mix of Devon countryside charm and timeless glamour.
If you’re planning a winter or Christmas wedding in Devon, Huntsham Court is one of those rare venues that feels both luxurious and completely homely. You can see more from my Devon wedding portfolio here.
