Winter wedding preview | Huntsham court, Devon

This wedding was so awesome I didn’t really know what to photograph first as Michelle and Tom had planned so So many amazing things throughout the day with fabulous suppliers to entertain and temp them with delicious food.

Tom and Michelle are huge personalities and everyone gravitated around them. There was a lotta lotta love and respect at this wedding on and it was a privilege to photograph. The close family and friend ties made it feel that everyone knew each other so well, the atmosphere was electric and super friendly.

Michelle and Tom come from an events and restaurant background so this was going to be a BIG event wedding with buckets loads of surprises and activities. They did not disappoint and it really wasn’t a wedding for standing around waiting for group photos, we did a few but really it was just fun fun fun all day long.

Amazing suppliers

A high point was beautiful poem read by their niece and nephew Grace and Mason, this was just pitch perfect. They had a friend on the piano Anthony Palamaris who was great, one of the bridesmaid sang a beautiful song while they were signing the register. They then had a surprise saxophonist to follow Tom and Michelle down the aisle,(well done Michelle on keeping that one secret!), a walking oyster station/man going round …. Which I thought was a genius idea to get people trying oysters. The guests LOOOOVED it. Then clay pigeon shooting, sparklers, an amazing surprise cake design by Grace and Mason (this was fabulous) these two gorgeous children were so brave, it was beautiful.

It was just an absolute belter of a day from start to finish. The speeches were emotional and equally hilarious, The stunning cake from Mandy’s Cakes didn’t even get cut, because it was just so utterly beautiful, As for the Dancing fun and the Negroni bar… I will need a whole other blog post for those pics!

It was wild … the review band were pumping out the songs and the dancefloor was on fire…. Filled by negroni’s and old fashioned cocktails and some crazy dancing!!
