Creating a simple brief for your photographer

Alice and Ed’s beautiful and simple photography brief was a joy to work with and the day just flowed perfectly.

The Brief:

We’d love for relaxed & organic moments to be captured which bring to life the spirit of our wedding. We do require some ‘family line up’ shots but would prefer most photographs to be ‘in the moment’ please.

The wedding of Alice and Ed in Devon was truly something special and I loved the simplicity of their brief. The ceremony took place at the charming church in Broadhembury, surrounded by rolling Devonshire hills and the historic thatched cottages of broadhembury.

The reception was held at Tracey Estate in Honiton which Alice and Ed own and run as a successful wedding venue. The parklands and views are stunning also it was so great to have insider knowledge on the best spots for golden hour. We headed off with their gorgeous dog as the sun was setting and captured some gorgeous moments.

The photos from the day tell their story of love, nature, and the unique charm of a September wedding in Devon. The couple’s joy and happiness shine through in every picture, creating lasting memories of their special day.
