If you are looking for the perfect blend of boho chic and relaxed/rustic vibes for your wedding venue then look no further as this venue has it all. Hayne is nestled in the heavenly Devonshire countryside near Zeal Monachorum, it’s private, rustic and the perfect place to party with all your nearest and dearest!!! And thats how the beautiful wedding of Hannah and Alex went down last July in THAT heatwave of 2022, what a scorcher.
Hannah and Alex both looked a million dollars. I LOVED Hannahs dress from Made with Love Bridal, The sleeves were gorgeous and Hannah was loving the ability to swirl around looking glamorous. A perfect look for an outdoor ceremony in the walled garden at Hayne. There was not a cloud in the sky that day and the walled garden was in full bloom.
Picture wise I don’t really know where to start with this wedding, It’s just everything you hope for from a summer wedding and more, vibrant colours, beautiful people, children laughing and the sun shining down. The day flowed beautifully with a gypsy trio playing fiddle music as we moved around the grounds from ceremony to drinks reception on the lawn. We did relaxed groups photos when and where it suited and avoided the full glare of the sun with some shade of the willow tree. I was never so glad of all the trees at Hayne to keep us from burning in the midday sun.
The venue and gardens just looked amazing as did all the guests… Hayne is a rustic haven of loveleyness and one very special place that luckily I get to shoot at regularly. Yippee….. lucky me!
Please do book me for more of these sun soaked summer weddings at Hayne. I can’t think of a better place to be than the fragrant walled garden and grounds in this idyllic corner of Devon, capturing love and laughter.
Hannah and Alex had chosen some really great suppliers to make their wedding of dreams happen.
The flower creations were all grown and designed by Milla and the team at Hayne. How’s that for sustainability!
Such a great eye for a relaxed boho chic look – they looked amazing and every little detail just oozed charm.
The canapés and wedding breakfast were created by the top team at posh nosh and they were flying out the door…all the guests looked very happy and the food was so pretty. The cake was a very pretty real flower tower of a cake by Queen bee cakes.
The evening entertainment was fabulous and we had a secret confetti canon for the first dance which was so much fun to photograph, before the band The verge came on to kick the party off followed by Bespoke disco on the decks.
Sally from Capture weddings was the videographer and we had a fab time capturing the confetti canon first dance moment together
